General UC Davis and Jasmine, one of his diminutive field mates, greeted visitors to Equamore Sanctuary at both December seasonal celebrations. But they missed seeing several of the donors and friends who contributed to their care in 2014. You don’t have to wait until next December to visit any of the 52 horses living in Sanctuary along Route 66 just east of Ashland, Oregon.

Current donors, potential donors, and the general public are invited to come and see the difference their tax deductible donations can make make to abandoned, neglected, or abused horses. Anyone interested in spending time with horses is welcome.  They’ll be greeted by the General and his ponies in the front field and welcomed by Equamore board members and volunteers, who regularly provide guided tours that tell the stories of the individual horses who reside there.

Don’t disappoint the General and Jasmine, who still wait at the front gate to see the Equamore Friends who’ve made such a difference in their lives.  Call 541.482.5550 to schedule an appointment for yourself or your group.
